How financial brands can master Instagram?

Many financial brands use social media to interact with their followers and to promote their services. However, most of them just use their content unchanged for every channel.

Advertisers should be mindful of the experience, each channel gives to their users. For example, Instagram is supposed to be a fun and quirky way to share your life with friends through a series of pictures. And there are some financial institutions who are doing it very well.

Some example of successful Instagram marketing is shown by Chase. They only show a part of a picture and invite users to their Facebook Page to see the whole picture. Another example is from American Express which use creatively composed pictures. Lastly, Citi invited users to share their beloved travel pictures in a competition.

Instagram can be a powerful medium to speak to your potential future customers. But it is important to show them that you speak their language and understand their environment.
